Miami’s weather in April is usually glorious with bright sunny days, low humidity, and in Coconut Grove, ever-present ocean breezes. The high temperatures tend to be in the mid-80s with the lows in the upper 60s. Nevertheless, since April begins the transition from the dry to the wet season, sudden bursts of rain can break out during hot afternoons, so it is advisable to bring an umbrella or a rain jacket. Because Miami is at the tip of Florida’s finger thrust out into the ocean, the weather can be unpredictable, rendering the Weather Channel somewhat unreliable. While the weather will most likely be spectacular, it’s best to be prepared for anything.
