The Society for Seventeenth-Century Music will conduct its next (informal) meeting during the Annual Meeting of the American Musicological Society in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on 7 November 2014.

The 2014 elections for the Society’s governing board are now open! In keeping with the recently approved plan to establish overlapping terms for officers, this year elections are for three offices: vice-president, treasurer, and secretary. The new vice-president and treasurer will serve three-year terms beginning April 2015; the new secretary shall serve a one-year term beginning April 2015 but may be elected to a full three-year term beginning April 2016.
The candidates are:
Vice-President: Wendy Heller and Stephen Miller
Treasurer: Jonathan Gibson and Maria Anne Purciello
Secretary: Rebecca Cypess and Anita Hardeman
