The Society for Seventeenth-Century Music welcomes donations in support of its mission to promote the study and performance of music and related arts of the seventeenth century. The Society currently publishes the on-lineJournal of Seventeenth-Century Music and the Web Library of Seventeenth-Century Music; the semiannual newsletter 17th-Century Music; and hosts an annual four-day conference each spring, featuring scholarly presentations, performances, and an award for the best student presentation, the Irene Alm Memorial Prize. The Society is also the parent organization for the American Heinrich Schütz Society, the American chapter of the International Heinrich Schütz Society. As a 501(c)(3) organization, the Society may receive donations from individuals that are deductible under the U.S. tax code.
